Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood ‘has a secret crush on celeb contestant’

Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood apparently has a secret crush on one of this year’s celeb contestants.

Well, not so secret now…

According to tabloid rumours, Craig “really fancies” Holby City hunk Joe McFadden, one of the remaining nine celebrities.

“Craig has taken a particular shine to Joe and has been telling his friends he really fancies him,” a source claimed to The Sun newspaper. “It’s all a bit of fun at the moment but since Craig has been single he’s taken a bit of a shine to a few handsome men.”

The gossip comes after single Craig confessed he had turned to online dating to find a partner.

However he admitted the search so far had not gone well: “People don’t ask if I want to go out, it’s all about Strictly.

“It’s odd me being on there but why can’t I, if everyone else is? Just because I’m in the public eye doesn’t mean I can’t be on dating sites.”

Meanwhile, Craig has hit back at his critics after Aston Merrygold was eliminated on Sunday night.

Despite being a favourite to win, it was Aston who was voted off Strictly Come Dancing 2017 last weekend.

In a dance off between Aston and Mollie King, Craig and Shirley Ballas both voted to save Mollie while Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli saved Aston. As head judge, Shirley had the casting vote and so Mollie was saved and Aston went home.

The decision sparked anger from viewers, with some accusing Craig of unfair marking when he gave Aston just four points for his routine in the live show.

But Craig hit back: “We didn’t put him in the bottom two, the audience did.”

He told The Sun of the complaints against him: “That’s rubbish. I gave a list of what was wrong with it on the night.

“And Mollie did a better dance in the dance-off.”

The remaining nine couples take to the dancefloor again this weekend when Strictly Come Dancing returns on BBC One at 6:45PM.
