Strictly Come Dancing results: Ruth Langsford reveals a spoiler!

Ahead of tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing 2017 results, Ruth Langsford has revealed a big spoiler about who left.

Or rather, who hasn’t.

In a bit of a Twitter mistake, Ruth is reported to have revealed Sunday’s result before it aired on TV.

Last night saw the latest round of live performances before the public voted. As usual, the judges’ marks from the latest performances will be added together with the viewer votes to determine the overall leaderboard for the third elimination.

The two celebrity couples in the bottom two of the overall rankings will find themselves having to dance again in Sunday’s results show. The judges will then decide who goes.

As always, the result was pre-recorded on Saturday night straight after the live performances.

And that apparently allowed Ruth to accidentally reveal part of the result on Twitter.

While she didn’t go as far as to say who has left in the latest Strictly Come Dancing results, Ruth announced that she and pro partner Anton Du Beke had avoided the dance off.

“We’re through to next week…… Yaaaaay! Thank you so much x x,” Ruth tweeted.

Its the second time in as many weeks that a celeb has leaked details of the results.

Last week Debbie McGee let slip Richard Cole’ exit after telling viewers he was “very sad” to see him go, before his exit aired on the telly.

Quickly appearing to back track, Debbie then added: “He fell over at one point and had to be treated and everything else, so now we’re waiting to see what’s going to happen in the results show tonight.”

Just one more reason the results should really be live, we guess…
