However the pair have suffered a nasty accident just hours before the show after a fall in dress rehearsals.

ITV say that Wes was assessed by show medics and as a result they will be changing their routine for this evening's performance.

They will no longer be incorporating the Detroiter lift into the routine.

It's not the only mishap in training this week with James Jordan dropping his pro partner on Friday.

Professional skater Alexandra Schauman was checked over by medics after falling while practising a lift with James.

Dropping his partner, James said, was one of his biggest fears.

Pictures from training saw James and Alex rehearsing their lift, which involves her hanging upside down holding onto his legs.

But with James seemingly struggling to balance, Alex ended up hitting her head on the ice.

She was quickly seen by medics who gave her the all clear as a devastated James watched on.

Dancing On Ice 2019 continues Sunday night at 6PM on ITV.

This week, the five remaining celebrities will be travelling through time and hoping to deliver their most exciting routines yet.

As well as facing their next Judges’ Challenge, they’ll also compete in a special group performance. Skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean lead the judging panel alongside expert choreographer Jason Gardiner and dance supremo Ashley Banjo.
