This weekend saw the remaining celebrities skating together for the seventh time.
After Ryan Sidebottom and Jane Danson left in a double exit last weekend, 5 contestants were left on the series.
They included X Factor singer Saara Aalto & pro partner Hamish Gaman and singer Brian McFadden & pro skater Alex Murphy.
They were joined by Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton & her pro skater Alexander Demetriou, and Love Island’s Wes Nelson & his pro partner Vanessa Bauer.
Also back on the ice this week will be former Strictly Come Dancing dancer James Jordan & his pro partner Alexandra Schauman.
At the end of each routine the judges – Torvill, Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo – gave their comments and marks out of 10.
Then this week saw an extra twist: The first ever Dancing On Ice skate battle. All of the final five skated on the ice together in a group performance which was marked by the judges. The top couple got 5 extra points, the second got 4 and so on.
Once all the judges marks were in, viewers could vote for their favourite via phones and the app.
The judges scores were then combined with the viewer’s votes before the bottom two couples were revealed as Saara Aalto & pro partner Hamish Gaman and Melody Thornton & her pro skater Alexander Demetriou.
The judging panel then chose who to save and who to send home and it was Melody who left Dancing On Ice 2019 tonight.
Each week Torvill and Dean will alternate the role of Head Judge. In the event of a tie, it’ll be down to them to decide who leaves the competition. This week Chris was in the role of head judge.
