Jane Danson fainted in rehearsals for tonight's Dancing On Ice 2019, it's been revealed.

The soap star is one of nine celebs left in the competition for this weekend's Fairytale themed show.

She and pro partner Sylvain Longchambon are set to skate to A Kind Of Magic by Queen in tonight's episode, but their performance is currently in jeopardy.

Jane fainted earlier today on the ice during a rehearsal for this evening's live show, with medical staff and coaches rushing to her aid.

A spokesperson for the show revealed: "She has been assessed by show medics and is now resting ahead of the performance."

Jane isn't the only celeb to have been left injured ahead of Sunday's episode.

Last weekend's scoreboard leaders Melody Thornton and Alexander Demetriou have also been hit by problems, after Melody suffered a fall during Thursday's training session.

She visited a Chiropractor after sustaining an injury and is now being constantly monitored ahead of the live show.

Also taking a tumble has been Gemma Collins, who fell flat on her face during last weekend's episode.

She told her fans on Instagram on Saturday: "The night before dancing on ice I’ve had another fall today. I’m in absolute agony. I’ve been crying like I don’t know what."

It comes after she vowed to return to the ice after last Sunday's mishap.

"Be back Sunday guys don’t worry nothing is going to stop me your support is overwhelming and keeping me going #nopainnogain @dancingonice physio is going well and will be ok," Gemma posted online.

The other celebs currently taking part in the Dancing On Ice line up are Loose Women’s Saira Khan, X Factor favourite Saara Aalto, Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton, cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, Strictly Come Dancing dancer James Jordan and singer and presenter Brian McFadden.

Dancing On Ice 2019 continues Sunday night on ITV at 6PM.
