Dancing On Ice bosses are reportedly after stars including Jodie Marsh, Ian Watkins and Matt Lapinskas for the new series in January.
Stars will begin their training in the autumn, ahead of the show’s return in the new year.
The Daily Star Sunday report that EastEnders star Matt, Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins and former glamor model Jodie are on the wish list of celebs.
“As always they want to get the mix of celebrity contestants right,” a source told the tabloid today. “The show was slammed as being boring last time around so bosses are keen to pick people who will make the headlines.
“And in Jodie’s case it doesn’t have to be for the right reasons.
“She loves the limelight and they reckon she’d be great on the show. They also want Matt.”
The supposed source revealed: “They approached him after he said he wanted to do Strictly Come Dancing so he really is top of their list.
“He’s young, good-looking and has that cheeky personality that female viewers love.”
Next year it’s expected that the ITV1 series will see yet another shake up, after this year’s run saw a decline in ratings.
