The Apprentice 2018 is set to return to BBC One within weeks.

The BBC One reality series will return on Wednesday nights in October, the channel has officially announced.

It was Sarah Lynn AND James White who won The Apprentice 2017 in this last year’s final results results.

The surprise outcome was a first for the show in its history, as Lord Sugar decided to invest his cash in both candidates.

In a shock twist, when faced with the decision between the two candidates, Lord Sugar decided it was a dead heat, and picked both to be his business partner. Both winners received a £250,000 business investment and 50/50 partnership with the multi-millionaire business mogul.

Applications for the new series took place earlier this year with filming starting earlier this Spring.

The Apprentice 2018 air has been announced for Wednesday, October 3 at 9PM.

Meanwhile, ahead of the start date, the BBC has unveiled a first trailer.

The ridiculous teaser stars an angry Lord Sugar, together with a chainsaw wielding Karren Brady, and Claude Littner with a flamethrower.

“Due to creative differences between the BBC Merchandise Department and Lord Sugar, all products have been immediately withdrawn from sale,” the BBC tease alongside the clip.

It upcoming run will The Apprentice’s fourteenth series and the first since the BBC announced a new three-year deal for the show.

The Apprentice was renewed by BBC One for at least three more series back in January.

The show will continue on the channel until 2020 under a new three-year-deal, it’s been reported by Broadcast.

A peak audience of 7 million watched last year’s final, up on the past two years.

The Apprentice 2018 / Series 14 will air on BBC One later this year.
