Here are the current Love Island 2019 couples following last night’s latest recoupling.
The new series of Love Island continues on Sunday evening (June 17) on ITV2.
Following the entrance of two new girls last week – and the unexpected departure of one of the guys – a new recoupling took place.
This time around, the boys had the power.
In Sunday’s episode, a text announced: “Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling in which the boys will choose which girl they want to couple up with. #nomoreshapes #girlproblems #standbyyourman.”
Here’s how the recoupling went down…
Love Island 2019 results! New couples revealed
Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard (continuing couple).
Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt (continuing couple).
Danny Williams and Yewande Biala (Danny was a single newbie and Yewande was originally coupled with Michael).
Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill (Michael was originally coupled with Yewande and Amber was originally with Anton).
Anton Danyluk and Elma Pazar (Anton was originally coupled up with Amber and Elma was a single newbie).
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague (continuing couple).
Therefore both Anna Vakili – originally coupled up with Sherif Lanre, who has left the villa – and newbie Maura Higgins were left single.
There was NO elimination and nobody left Love Island last night.
Instead, after the recoupling the group received two new texts.
The first introduced two new boys Jordan Hames and Tom Walker and said that single girls Anna and Maura would be going on dates with them.
For the couples, a twist awaited.
A follow up text told them that each couple would now have to vote for the two least compatible couples.
The two couples who receive the most votes from their fellow Islanders risk being dumped from the Love Island villa.
Love Island 2019 continues nightly on ITV2.
Tonight’s (Monday, June 17) episode will see the single girls head out on their dates as the couples make their votes.
