The Greatest Dancer: Meet the next set of contestants hoping to make the callbacks

Tonight's The Greatest Dancer contestants

Here's your first look at week two of auditions on The Greatest Dancer tonight.

The new BBC One dance talent contest kicked off last weekend with almost 5 million viewers.

Hosts Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo will be back this evening to present the show as Dance Captains Cheryl, Matthew Morrison and Oti Mabuse get ready to see more dancers give the performance of their lives.

The Greatest Dancer auditions continue on Saturday, as dancers of any age and dance style compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.

On this show the audience hold the power: if 75 percent of them vote YES, the mirror will open, and the act will make it through to the next stage of the competition, the call-backs.

In week two, expect more dramatic auditions, outstanding talent and jaw-dropping surprises. Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, who is the Greatest Dancer of them all?

Acts hoping to win over the audience include Company Jinks, Fionn, Dynamic Dads and Chris Fonseca.

We also meet JSD Minis, Afro Queens, Mark short and the Globe Girls.

Ahead of the episode, Cheryl says she's after a performer who will bring some passion to the stage.

She said: "There’s nothing worse than a dancer that puts every single thing in place but you don’t feel anything. I want to feel like I want to get up, be with them and enjoy it with them. I want to just feel them, more than see them."

The Greatest Dancer continues at the slightly later time of 8PM on BBC One this Saturday evening.

Acts we met last weekend included four piece street dance group Frobacks, all girl Latin formation group from Wales KLA and street dancer duo Urban Jokers.

Meanwhile, Cheryl was reduced to tears by an emotional audition by freestyle performer Andrew, who sailed through to the next round.
