The last set of X Factor 2018 finalists have been revealed with the final four Overs confirmed.
Tonight saw judges’ houses concluded as we headed to LA and Ayda Williams’ home with her Overs category.
The remaining six acts performed for the new X Factor judge and her two special guests: American Idol star Adam Lambert and former X Factor winner Leona Lewis.
After all the acts had performed, Ayda, Adam and Leona sat down to decide which four should make the live shows.
Ayda then sat down with the contestants in turn to reveal the four who had made it through.
Making the cut were Danny Tetley, 37 from Bradford, Giovanni Spano, 33 from London, Janice Robinson, 50 from USA and Olatunji Yearwood, 32 from Trinidad and Tobago. That meant we said goodbye to Louise Setara, 30 from Surrey and Ricky John, 37 from London.
First to get their decision was Janice Robinson. Ayda told her: “You have something so special I’ve not seen in a long time. I’ve made my decision… and it was always going to be a yes!”
Next Ola Yearwood found out his fate. Ayda said: “I love that you bring a completely different new style of music to the competition.”
Giovanni Spano then sat down with Ayda. She said: “You bring rock and roll to this competition.”
Completing the line up was Danny Tetley. Ayda told him: “You open your mouth and there’s a deep soul voice that comes out. There’s so much soul and personality in your voice.”
