The X Factor is heading for another big shake up – who will be this year’s judges?
This week saw Robbie Williams and Ayda Williams announce they had quit The X Factor after the one series.
The husband and wife pair took to social media to tell fans they wouldn’t be back for 2019’s run.
Blaming busy schedules, the pair said: “We’re gutted to tell you we won’t be able to return to The X Factor this year. We will be working on projects with Simon going forward – and as huge fans of the show, we will still be tuning into The X Factor, voting and winding Simon up!”
The news follows One Direction star Louis Tomlinson admitting he may not be back on the show either.
With potentially a trio of new judges needed, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards is now the odds-on favourite with bookmakers Ladbrokes to join the show.
The former X Factor winner, who rose to fame with Little Mix on the show in 2011, has seen her odds tumble from 6/1 to just 10/11 over the last 24 hours.
Elsewhere, Louis Walsh has seen his odds of a dramatic return to the show cut to just 2/1 (from 3/1).
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Perrie’s odds of becoming a judge are shortening by the hour, but the odds point towards two Louis’ being on the panel later this year.”

The X Factor airs on ITV in the autumn.
Show boss Simon Cowell recently revealed hopes to air both a Celebrity and All Star version of X Factor, in place of the regular series.
He teased: “I’ve had a meeting with ITV, I’ve told them what I think we’d like to do with X Factor because we’ve been waiting to have this opportunity.”
