Britain’s Got Talent auditions – week 1
The Queen
The first act on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent got the audience on their feet before even auditioning! ‘The Queen’ gave the judges’ a roasting, quipping: “There have been far too many below average variety acts and I’m not referring to Alesha Dixon.” With four yeses, we’re set to see more from HRH in the next round.
Fabulous Sisters
Dance group Fabulous Sisters are an all female group aged 12-26 from Japan. They brought a fast paced routine to the stage to get through to the next round. “It was astonishing what you did, it was incredible,” reviewed David.
Y Pedwar Covi
Y Pedwar Covi are a four piece music act from Wales, aged 58-71. They had big hopes for their unique act, which involved some suggestively placed pots and pans. “It was a proper variety act, which Britain’s Got Talent celebrates,” commented Amanda.

Jimmy Tamley
Jimmy Tamley is a 64-year-old professional comedian ventriloquist from Devon. He’s been performing for over 40 years. Jimmy got both Amanda Holden and David Walliams up on stage involved with his act, turning them into his dummies, fitting them with comedy masks which he controlled.
Faith Tucker
Faith Tucker is an 18-year-old singer from Nottingham. Citing Beyonce as one of her biggest inspirations, the sixth form student took to the stage with a surprising performance as she showed off an incredible classical singing talent.
Ron
45-year-old Ron from Nottinghamshire is a singing Dalek. With the help of a push from Ant and Dec, Ron rolled onto the stage to show off his talent to the judges but it didn’t get him through to the next round.
The Haunting
Mysterious woman Elizabeth took to the stage to present The Haunting, a unique magic act that saw Amanda Holden get the fright of her life. “It was the most scary act we’ve ever had and I want to see more,” gasped Alesha.
Siobhan Phillips
Siobhan Phillips is a 42-year-old comedy singer from Wakefield. She auditioned for the judge with a song she wrote about having a baby. Resident comic David said: “I think comedy songs are actually really hard to pull off, to get belly laughs throughout, and you did. You’re a real talent.”
Flakefleet Primary School – GOLDEN BUZZER
Flakefleet Primary School is a group of school children aged 5-11 from Lancashire who brought an all singing, all dancing performance to the stage. They won the first golden buzzer of the series from David Walliams after a cover of Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’.
“You’re just one of the most joyous things I’ve ever seen. You’ve made our hearts soar today,” David said. “It’s what you want your childhood to have been like, just full of unbridled joy.”
Vardanyan Brothers
The Vardanyan Brothers are aged 28 and 32 from Russia. They performed a dangerous balancing act involving swords that left the judges speechless. “I almost was gonna say you can’t do this,” Simon admitted. “This is the most dangerous act I’ve seen on a Got Talent show.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday nights on ITV.
You can watch full episodes online via the ITV Hub.
Those acts who make it through the auditions will stand the chance of making the live semi-finals later this year.
