The Voice UK first look as Mark Asari sings for the coaches

Here’s a preview of The Voice UK this weekend as Mark Asari sings for the coaches.

The third round of auditions of The Voice 2018 take place this Saturday night on ITV.

Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones are back for this year’s brand new series alongside newbie Olly Murs.

The fantastic four piece are on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer. The Voice UK winner will scoop a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.

As always, it all starts with the blind auditions where the acts must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.

This week one of the acts we meet is Mark Asari, a 29-year-old musician from London.

Hoping to get the coaches turning, Mark sings Walking Away by Craig David.

As always, the coaches will decide whether or not to hit their buzzers based only on what they hear as they sit with their backs to the stage.

Whether or not Mark can get any of the coaches to turn around will be revealed in Saturday night’s show.

After the first two weeks of auditions, Team Olly has four acts on his team while Team Jennifer and Team Tom have three apiece.

Team Will.i.am is currently lagging behind with only two singers so far, as the Black Eyed Peas singer once again proves extra picky.

Alongside Mark Asari, other acts singing for the coaches this weekend include Chris James, a 28-year-old audio book narrator from Norfolk who sings Prince Ali from the movie Aladdin.

We also meet duo Ant & Ox, both 21, from London. Ant is a part-time estate agent and Ox is a waiter but they share a passion for singing, performing Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 at the blind auditions.

The Voice UK continues on Saturday evening from 8PM on ITV.
