There’s great news for I’m A Celebrity’s Emily Atack

Emily Atack is said to have been inundated with offers for TV work after I’m A Celebrity.

It was Harry Redknapp who won I’m A Celebrity this year, beating Emily into second place. John Barrowman finished third in the live final.

Although she didn’t win, Emily is set to see a massive career boost thanks to the show.

Reports claim she already has plenty of work offers flooding in after her stint in the Australian jungle.

“When she lands back in the UK she’s got some huge meetings scheduled in and has some really lucrative opportunities to think about,” a source told The Sun newspaper this week.

They revealed: “This Morning bosses are already hoping to tie her down to a short-term role because she’s so well suited to their audience. And a number of big comedy panel shows are hoping to get her on board over the next 12 months.

“Emily is still stunned she managed to do so well in the jungle but she’s a natural entertainer… Out of everyone who appeared on the show, even Harry, she’s the real winner of the show because it’s opened so many doors.”

However there is some bad news for Emily as it’s been alleged that potentially 30% of any cash made will go straight to ITV.

The Mail on Sunday claim that celebs who appear on the show could have to allow “ITV’s auditors to pore over their books” for the 45 days after the show.

Any “appearances, contracts and endorsements” booked may see ITV take their cut, potentially costing celebrities “hundreds of thousands of pounds.”

A spokesperson for ITV said it did not comment on the contracts of the celebrities.

I’m A Celebrity will return for a new series in 2019.

Before then, the Coming Out show will air on ITV Wednesday, December 12 at 9PM, following the celebs on their first few days outside the jungle.
