The Voice Kids returns for a brand new series on Saturday night bigger than ever before.
The spin-off series features contestants aged 7 to 14 competing for a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education.
This year, the stage is set with four iconic red chairs in position.
Original Voice Kids star coaches will.i.am, Danny Jones and Pixie Lott are all back and there’s a new kid on the block as the multi-platinum selling singer Jessie J joins the panel.
Emma Willis is again hosting the show and, throughout the Blind Auditions, cheering on from the wings as she joins with the hopefuls’ founder fan club members – their friends and families.
Each coach has nine places on their teams to fill as they head into the Blind Auditions searching for the next generation of superstar singers.
In another change, for 2019 the competition has opened up to duos as well as solo acts.
They’ll step out to the backs of the coaches to sing their hearts out in a bid to get a coveted chair turn.
After each performance, regardless of whether they’ve won a place with will, Danny, Pixie or Jessie, all four coaches will turn to give the singers words of advice and encouragement.
Those that make it through to the blind auditions face The Battles where three acts per team will sing-off.
There are no steals in The Voice Kids, as the youngsters fight for a place in the semi-final where they have one last chance to win over their coaches.
It’s then onto the live final where the coaches the ultimate decision will be in the hands of the viewers at home.
The final four will perform in the live final in the hope of winning the public vote.
In addition to the cash prize, they’ll win a family holiday to Orlando courtesy of Universal Studios and Norwegian Air.
The Voice Kids airs from 8PM on Saturday, June 8 on ITV.
Meanwhile, applications to take part in next year’s series of The Voice UK are currently open.
