The Voice Kids RECAP! All the blind auditions from the second round

The Voice Kids returned tonight for the second round of blind auditions – here are all the performances., Pixie Lott and Danny Jones are back in the spinning red chairs for series 2 this summer.

Once more hosted by Emma Willis, The Voice Kids is open to talented young soloists between the ages of seven and 14.

Up for grans for the winner is a £30,000 bursary towards their musical education plus a dream family holiday to Disneyland Paris.

But the first step is winning a spot on one of the three teams at the blind auditions.

Just like in the adult version, the young singers perform their chosen song to a live band – but can they get the coaches to hit their buttons?

As always, if a coach decides to press their buzzer, they’ll secure that act for their team. Should more than one coach turn, it’ll be the kid who has the power to pick which team to join.

And even if no coaches press their buzzer, they will all still spin at the end of the performance so they can give feedback and encouragement.

Here’s a recap of tonight’s second round of the blind auditions…

First up tonight was 13-year-old Ciaran from Glasgow in Scotland. He got all three coaches spinning with an energetic performance of Fleur East’s Sax, choosing to join Team Pixie.

10-year-old Krishna put an Indian twist on How Deep Is Your Love to get hitting the buzzer. Krishna admitted he was the one coach he wanted to impress.

14-year-old Holly from Scotland got both Pixie and Danny spinning Sam Smith’s One Last Song, picking Team Pixie to join.

12-year-old Hannah from Belfast belted out Everybody Needs a Best Friend but unfortunately didn’t any of the four coaches to turn.

Lauren Mia

14-year-old Lauren Mia from Wales dedicated her performance of All I Want by Kodaline to her dad. Both Danny and Pixie hit their buzzers, with Lauren Mia joining Team Pixie.

8-year-old Astrid performed Billie Holiday’s God Bless the Child, after being inspired by her mum and gran. The youngster won a spot on Team Will after he turned for her.

13-year-old Josh is already the frontman of a rockband. Going solo on The Voice singing Jet’s Rollover D.J., he won himself a spot on Team Danny – and a jamming session with the show’s live band.

13-year-old Lauren from Lancashire put quite the spin on classic song Hallelujah. The risk sadly didn’t pay off, with no coaches turning for the teenager.

14-year-old Will from Runcorn, Cheshire chose Team Pixie over Team Danny after both coaches turned for his cover of Both Sides Now.

13-year-old Zoe from Salisbury got her way into the battles on Team Danny after singing Feist song 1234.

11-year-old Yaroslav previously appeared on the Russian version of the show in his home country. Now living in London, he closed the UK version tonight with a cover of Nessun Dorma. With all three coaches turning, Yaroslav chose to join Team Will.
