The Voice 2019 RECAP! All of the blind auditions from week four

The Voice UK 2019 auditions

The Voice UK 2019 returned tonight for its fourth round of blind auditions.

Here’s a full recap of all the performances, and who got through on which team.

Global music legends, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs are this year’s coaches and on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer. Once again, this year’s winner scooping a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.

As always, the first stage is the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches. After the first three weeks, Team Jennifer and Team Tom lead the way with five acts while Team Will and Team Olly had four acts apiece.

Hoping to pick up the best singing talent, if the coaches like what they hear, they hit their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their line up. If more than one spins then it’s up to the act to pick which team to join.

But if all the coaches fail to turn for an act they lose their right to see them. The act leaves stage immediately and the judges are left forever wondering if they should have hit their buttons.

Here’s how the fourth round of blind auditions went down tonight…

The Voice UK Week 4 recap

Eden Kavanagh

24-year-old barrister Eden Kavanagh travelled from Dublin for her audition, although she is originally from New Zealand. Eden brought a bit of musical theatre to The Voice stage, belting out ‘They Just Keep Moving The Line’ from musical TV series Smash but unfortunately didn’t get any turns.

Callum Butterworth

17-year-old Callum Butterworth from Halifax performed ‘Mercy’ by Shawn Mendes for his blind audition. The teenager got Olly turning and so secured a spot straight on his team.

Stefan Mahendra

23-year-old Stefan Mahendra from Bromley impressed the coaches as he performed ‘Redbone’ by Childish Gambino for his blind audition. Stefan got both Jennifer and Olly to hit their buzzers, choosing to join Team Olly.

Robin Martin

21-year-old Ilianna from Purley currently works as a part time Estate Agent. Swapping viewings for auditioning, she took to The Voice UK stage with ‘Location’ by Khalid. Ilianna’s performance got a turn from Team Will, seeing her straight onto his team which she seemed more than pleased with.

Craig Forsyth

28-year-old Craig Forsyth from Irvine currently works as a Community Nursing Assistant for the NHS. The self-confessed car singer stepped onto a stage for the very first time as he belted out ‘The Impossible Dream’ by Andy Williams. Craig’s big voice won over Jennifer Hudson, who hit her buzzer to secure him for her team.

Bethzienna Williams

28-year-old Bethzienna Williams from Barry in Wales performed a cover of ‘Cry To Me’ by Solomon Burke for her blind audition. Jennifer hit her button to turn around, seeing Bethzienna go straight onto her team.
