The Circle 2019: Meet new contestant Paddy Smyth

The Circle 2019 welcomed another brand new player to the game this evening (October 4).

Fresh from the exit of Katie / Jay in the latest blocking, tonight saw Paddy Smyth join The Circle.

The Circle is a social media based reality game show where a £100,000 prize up for grabs.

In a game where anyone can be anyone, The Circle’s contestants all reside in the same building but live in completely separate apartments: They can’t see or hear one another and will never meet their competitors face to face while playing the game.

Instead, they can only communicate using a specially-designed voice automated social media platform called The Circle as they compete to be crowned the most popular.

Meet new player Paddy Smyth and their game plans below…

GAME PLAN: Describing himself as the “disabled assassin”, Paddy is playing as himself but hiding his disability. “Hopefully I find people like me for me and not my crutches,” he adds.

Elsewhere tonight’s episode of The Circle saw catfish meet catfish in one of the best moments of the series to date.

As the latest player to leave The Circle, Katie – who had been playing as her son Kay – met single mum Sammie, who turned out to be a bloke called James.

The Circle 2019 airs Monday-Fridays and Sunday nights at 9PM on Channel 4.

Live episodes air weekly hosted by Emma Willis while viewers can get involved in the game via the official mobile app.
