The Survival Of The Fittest winners decided to share prize money in one last twist tonight.
It was the girls’ team who won Survival Of The Fittest 2018 tonight.
Those in the final were: For the girls, Mariam Musa, Jenny West, Mettisse Campbell and Sam Dewhurst and for the boys, Tristan Jones, Warren Phillips, James Middleton and David Lundy.
In tonight’s show, the Boys and Girls took part in an epic task that tested the teams both mentally and physically.
And the final challenge, it was the GIRLS who were victorious, winning £40,000 – but there was one last twist in store.
After announcing their victory, host Laura Whitemore then told the girls that Mettisse had been voted as the ‘Fittest Girl’ by the public.
Mettisse then had another decision to make as she was given a say in how the £40,000 prize money was shared.
She was offered the chance to share it with MATES (the Girls’ team) or DATES (her boyfriend, Tristan). She chose MATES so the Girls won a £10,000 share each.
Following the final, the group revealed how they’d each be spending their cash.
Jenny revealed: “I’ll take out my friends for drinks and cocktails. And then just spoil my guinea pigs.”
Sam added: “I think we want to carry on this winning streak. We want to start doing Tough Mudders together. Girl power!”
An excited Mariam said: “I’ll go to the spa! Also I’ll go on holiday with Warren.”
And the top girl Mettisse said: “I might join Maz in the spa too! And I want to book a holiday with Tristan too.”
Jenny joked: “Me and Sam can go on holiday together!”
Survival Of The Fittest airs on ITV2.
