Another celebrity has left Strictly Come Dancing 2017 in tonight’s results.
This weekend Strictly Come Dancing went to the movies, and the celebrity dancers and their professional partners gave their best Hollywood-inspired performances, as the fourteen couples each took to the dancefloor to impress the viewers at home – as well as judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood in the studio.
Simon Rimmer and Reverend Richard Coles had to dance again and it was the Reverend who went home.

In tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing results, the judges’ scores were combined with the results of the viewers’ votes to decide the lowest scoring two couples facing the dance off.
This week, that was Simon Rimmer and professional partner Karen Clifton, and Reverend Richard Coles and his partner Dianne Buswell.
Both couples performed their routines again, Simon and Karen did their Quickstep to You’ve Got a Friend in Me from the movie Toy Story and Richard and Dianne performed their Paso Doble to Flash Gordon from the movie Flash Gordon, in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.
After both couples had danced a second time the judges delivered their verdicts with all four choosing to save Simon and Karen.
Craig Revel Horwood said: “I love the entertainment value of one couple, I really have to save the couple that are technically better and that’s Simon and Karen.”
Darcey Bussell added “This is always incredibly difficult because they both made improvements to their dance but the couple I would like to save, just for a better technical dance, is Simon and Karen.”
Bruno Tonioli told the pair: “I love you both, you’re so much fun. I think out of the two, one couple had a more cohesive technical performance, and that’s Simon and Karen.”
Although her vote did not change the outcome, Head Judge Shirley Ballas agreed with her fellow judges, and said she too would have chosen to save Simon and Karen.
As a result it was Reverend Richard Coles and his partner Dianne Buswell who found themselves leaving the competition.
When asked by Tess if he had enjoyed his time on the show, Richard said: “It’s been a joy. Every minute of it I’ve enjoyed, even when Dianne was hissing through her teeth “feet, frame, feet, frame”, it’s been completely joyous. I only forgot to reckon into my strategy that I can’t actually dance!”
The remaining thirteen couples will take to the dancefloor again next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on BBC One at 6:45PM.
