Scarlett Moffatt ‘struggling to cope with fame’ after I’m A Celebrity victory?

It’s been almost two years now since Scarlett Moffatt won I’m A Celebrity – and she’s reportedly struggling to cope.

Since her victory, the former Gogglebox star has become one of UK telly’s biggest names.

Scarlett now hosts the I’m A Celebrity spin-off and co-stars alongside Ant and Dec in Saturday Night Takeaway.

But reports suggest she’s hard a tough time dealing with her increased profile in the public eye.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper today: “Scarlett has been struggling to cope with all the press attention and barrage of online abuse from trolls since winning I’m A Celeb.”

“She is really grateful for her career going from strength to strength and all the amazing things that have happened off the back of winning,” the insider continued.

But they added: “There have been a few tears in recent months and she has told friends life was easier and more fun when she was on Gogglebox.”

Despite the apparent negativity off camera, Scarlett has been nothing but positive on screen.

Scarlett – who has been tipped to land her own chat show – recently raved about reuniting with Ant and Dec for Saturday Night Takeaway.

“They’re like the brothers I never had,” she said. “They’re genuinely lovely, down to earth people who offer me a lot of brilliant career advice.”

Scarlett added: “Honestly walking into the first ever script meeting and realising ‘wow I’m a part of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, just casually sat having a cup of tea with the most amazing people at ITV, discussing the script.'”

“Being Mary Poppins in the grand finale in Florida was amazing,” Scarlett said of her debut on last year’s series. “A proper pinch me moment!

“I know things like that only happen once in a life time and being on stage alongside Ant, Dec and Cat Deeley (who stole the Crown Jewels) the three heroes I watched every Saturday on SMTV live is a moment I wish I could bottle up and give to other people as the happiness I felt was overwhelming. ”
