Britain's Got Talent stars The Garnett Family never originally planned for their mum to be a part of the group.
The four piece are made up of sisters Rachel and twins Anna and Abigail together with their mum Helen.
And they were in perfect harmony on Saturday night as they performed Jess Glynne’s Take Me Home.
They told the judges: "We've been singing together for ever but this is our first ever performance in front of an audience."
The panel were very impressed with what they heard as The Garnett Family scored four yeses through to the next round.
"There is something special about a family group, the blend of voices was absolutely beautiful," commented David Walliams.
It's now been revealed that mum Helen ended up singing with her daughters at the audition completely by chance, with the sisters having originally auditioned as a trio.
"I was just there to act as their chaperone, really, and I never imagined anything like this would happen," Helen recalled this week. "The girls said at the audition their background was in gospel music and, at the end, the judges said it was fantastic but they would love to hear some gospel.
"The girls said they only ever sung gospel with their mum so they asked me to come on stage and sing with them."
She added to the Hull Daily Mail: "There I was, in my scruffy jumper and my glasses, and I thought I was just be there to be the tenor but I could see the judges' faces light up.
"I couldn't believe it when they said they wanted me on the show too."
While the ladies got four yeses they'll now have to wait and see if they make it into the live semi-finals later this month.
"We're just sitting waiting to find out whether or not we get through so who knows what the future will hold," Helen said.
Britain's Got Talent 2016 continues Saturday nights on ITV.
