I'm A Celebrity 2018's final was the most watched show on TV last night.
The ITV show topped Strictly Come Dancing to win the night with its biggest final in five years.
The last live hsow of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! attracted a huge peak audience of 12.1 million/56% share tuning in to see football manager Harry Redknapp crowned King of the Jungle - the highest peak audience of the series.
He beat actress Emily Atack in the final two, while actor John Barrowman finished the series in third place.
The final show of the series averaged 10.9 million/48.2% share - an increase of 1.7 million viewers on the audience to last year's final, and the highest rating final since 2013.
Series 18 has averaged 9.1 million viewers/44% share based on overnights ratings data.
Based on 7 day consolidated data the series is averaging 12.2 million viewers, making it the highest rating series in the show's history, based on available consolidated data after 14 episodes.
Over on BBC One last night, the latest Strictly Come Dancing results show had just under 9 million viewers.
Ashley Roberts was in the dance off for a third week running, this time facing Lauren Steadman in the final two of the semi-final show.
The episode was down slightly on last weekend and a notable 2 million below 2017's equivalent episode. A peak of 10 million watched as the judges delivered their verdict in the dance off and the four finalists were confirmed.
The series will conclude next Saturday night with its live final.
Before Strictly, the final episode of Doctor Who averaged 5.3 million viewers. The BBC has confirmed that, following a one-off Christmas special later this month, the next series won't air until 2020.
