Strictly Come Dancing was down almost a million viewers on last year's series in last night's viewing figures.
The second live show of the BBC One dancing series ran between 6:30PM and 8:35PM as the fifteen celebrity couples all performed once more.
An average audience of 8.4 million viewers tuned in, down 500,000 viewers on last Saturday night and just under a million below 2017's equivalent show.
Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev topped the scoreboard on the night with 61 points from their first two dances, just eclipsing fellow popstar Faye Tozer at the top. Faye and Giovanni Pernice had to settle for second place with 60 points while Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell were third with a total of 58 points.
At the bottom end for a second week running were Susannah Constantine and Anton Du Beke who suffered another "dance disaster' with their Foxtrot to 'They Can’t Take That Away From Me' by Frank Sinatra.
Strictly returns tonight at 7:15PM on BBC One with its first results show as the first celebrity is eliminated from the competition.
Meanwhile, over on ITV, The X Factor last night also fell as its latest episode dipped to 4.6 million viewers. This is down 400,000 on last week and last year's numbers.
It was the first of three Six Chair Challenge instalments and featured performances from Simon Cowell's Girls and Ayda Williams' Overs.
In the Overs, favourites included Ricky John, Cezar Ouatu and Louise Setara battled for one of the six seats.
The ultimate fate of neither category was confirmed, with the show continuing tonight at 8PM on ITV.
