Over 4 million viewers tuned in for the 2018 British Soap Awards on ITV last night.
It was the first time in the show's history that the ceremony was aired live and ratings benefited.
An average audience of 4.2 million viewers watched between 8PM and 10PM, up over a million viewers on last year.
It was the most watched ceremony since 2015, where 5 million tuned in.

Elsewhere on ITV last night, 4.3 million tuned in for England's football match against Nigeria. A further 1 million watched highlights at just after 10PM.
On BBC One, Pointless Celebrities had 2.8 million viewers, up 400,000 on last week, before 2.5 million tuned in to watch Ed Sheeran on The Biggest Weekend.
3.1 million caught the latest episode of Casualty - 100,000 down on last Saturday - while All Round to Mrs Brown's fell from 3.6 million to 2.5 million for its third episode of the new series. The run had begun with 3.9 million viewers.
Earlier, 1.6 million watched an airing of Shrek 2 while 1.3 million caught late night film Meet the Fockers.
