The fifth and final instalment airing at 9PM all this week saw an average of 7.4 million viewers.
Pat Phelan's ultimate dramatic departure was the most watched show of the day and the whole week.
The episode peaked with just under 8 million viewers as Pat's reign of terror came to a bloody end.
Meanwhile, Britain's Got Talent continued with 6.2 million viewers on ITV for its latest performances. The numbers were 200,000 below Thursday's show and the lowest of the week.
The results of the last semi-final however had 5.8 million, matching Thursday's numbers as the finalists on this year's contest were confirmed.
Acrobatic duo Giang Brothers and comedy singer Micky P Kerr joined dancers DVJ, father and son singing duo Tim and Jack, comedian Robert White, singer Gruffydd Wyn Roberts, singer Donchez Dacres, singer Calum Courtney, comedian Lost Voice Guy and the D-Day Darlings in the final.
Britain's Got Talent 2018 final airs Sunday, June 3 at 7:30PM.
As well as the finalists' performance, the last live show of the series will also see some guest performances from The Cast Of Magic Mike from Las Vegas and the Cast Of Tina Turner The Musical
Elsewhere on ITV, Emmerdale dipped to 4.8 million while over on BBC One, EastEnders continued with 3.6 million up against BGT.
On BBC One, game show The Button continued to struggle with just 1.1 million viewers before 3 million tuned in for Have I Got News For You.
Later on, The Graham Norton Show had 2.7 million viewers in the late night slot on BBC One.
