Here’s a look at the latest UK TV viewing figures for Sunday’s night of television (May 6).
And with Spring sunshine and a Bank Holiday weekend, it seems few people spent the evening watching the telly.
On BBC One, Countryfile’s average audience dipped 1.5 million viewers from last week’s numbers to 4 million yesterday.
It was the second most watched show on Sunday night, behind Antiques Roadshow which topped evening with 4.3 million tuning in, down 1.1 million viewers on the previous weekend.
Afterwards, new drama The Woman In White continued with 3 million viewers. The Woman In White is a new five-part adaptation of Wilkie Collins’ psychological thriller, written by Fiona Seres and directed by Carl Tibbetts. The series opened with 4.5 million while 3.8 million watched last Sunday.
On ITV, series two of Little Big Shots continued with 1.7 million viewers. The series, which previously aired in a mid-week evening slot in 2017, was down 700,000 on last weekend’s showing.
The Durrells’ third series followed at 8PM with 3.6 million, declining 800,000 viewers week-on-week as the eight-part run concluded.
At 9PM, Who Wants to be a Millionaire continued with 3.8 million viewers. This is down 1.3 million on Saturday’s premiere following Britain’s Got Talent.
Jeremy Clarkson is the unlikely new host of a special week of brand new episodes, which continue at 9PM this evening on ITV.
On Channel 4, just under 2 million watched the premiere of Great British Bake Off’s The Professionals spin off.
