Love Island reveals cryptic #DayDotIsComing teasers ahead of season 5

Love Island 2019 has unveiled a cryptic advertising campaign for this year’s series.

Online ads, billboards and posters have been put up across the country with the hashtag ‘#DayDotIsComing’.

The adverts feature some of Love Island’s most iconic and famous quotes and moments from past series.

They range from a pair of floating swimming trunks referencing the ‘DBS’ or Do Bits Society to Josh Denzel’s insight that “girls really like avocados”.

Another ad features a piece of paper with the words ‘my type’ written on it, floating in a pool.

Fans of Love Island are already getting excited for launch after noticing the teasers.

“#daydotiscoming is definitely a @LoveIsland advert!! The swim shorts said DBS on them. Its gonna be a long hot summer and I cannot wait ??‍♀️,” one wrote.

Another added: “#daydotiscoming #LoveIsland im starting to get addicted”

Although ITV2 have yet to officially confirm when Love Island will begin on TV, it’s rumoured to all kick off on Monday, June 3.

Again, that date is not yet official, but matches up with past series which have launched on the first Monday of June.

The series will air nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.

As for how long Love Island will be on for, each series so far has lasted longer than the previous. 2018 was the biggest yet, lasting 59 days, up from 43 in 2017.

Caroline Flack will be returning to host and famous Scottish voice over Iain Stirling will also be back to narrate the nightly antics.

Applications to take part are still open to those over 18 who have valid travel documents and are free to spend their summer in Spain.
