Love Island fans have been left raging after ITV’s online service ITV Hub crashed during tonight’s episode.
This evening’s (Wednesday, July 3) instalment of the ITV2 show saw all the dramatic fallout from Tuesday night’s recoupling.
However viewers watching online missed most of it, after the official online feed froze on an advert for car insurance after just 15 minutes.
The official ITV Hub Twitter posted: “Apologies #LoveIsland fans! We’re experiencing some technical issues and hope to have it fixed ASAP. Thanks for your patience so far.”
Viewers were quick to reply, with one begging: “Hurry up!!!! I’m missing all the drama!”
Another posted simply: “This is terrible”, with social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp also experiencing downtime today.
ITV Hub going down follows last night’s episode setting a ratings record.
Tuesday night’s episode peaked with 4.3 million viewers, which is the show’s highest peak audience ever.
Last night’s episode was also the most watched programme for 16-34s so far this year, and Love Island’s biggest ever 16-34 audience.
