Love Island 2019 recoupling tonight will see the boys have the power

There will be a recoupling on tonight’s Love Island 2019 and the boys will have the power.

Season 5 of Love Island is back at 9PM this evening on ITV2.

And following the entrance of two new girls – and the unexpected exit of one of the lads – a new recoupling is on its way.

In tonight’s show, Elma receives a text which reads: “Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling in which the boys will choose which girl they want to couple up with. #nomoreshapes #girlproblems #standbyyourman.”

The Islanders are quick to assess their current couples – or lack thereof.

Following her love triangle with Tommy and Maura, Molly-Mae reflects on the recent Recoupling news in the Beach Hut.

She says: “Obviously, I’m feeling a bit apprehensive. I just want to get tonight over and done with. I just want to know what Tommy is going to do.”

Similarly, currently single newbie Maura is feeling the heat. In the Beach Hut she says: “I don’t know what that man [Tommy] is thinking. He’s very hard to read.”

Tommy also heads in to the Beach Hut, he says: “It doesn’t get more fifty-fifty than this. It’s crazy because Maura and Molly-Mae are both beautiful girls but I’m sure my final decision will be the right one.”

Meanwhile, Anton seeks advice from Joe with his feelings split between new girl Elma and original Islander Anna.

He says: “I feel a loyalty to Anna but then on the other hand, with Elma it feels like there is something there. I want to do the right thing by Anna but if I do that I’m jeopardising myself here.”

Plus, Joe himself has also questioned whether Lucie is still the right girl for him after admitting doubts about her closeness to Tommy.

As night falls, Curtis receives a text which reads: “Can all Islanders gather around the fire pit immediately. #decisiontime.”

It is time for the boys in the villa to face the music and make a choice about who they want to couple up with.

Love Island 2019 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
