The winners of The Love Island 2018 have faced a shock prize money twist in tonight’s live show.

This evening’s live results saw Caroline Flack join the final four couples and announce the winners LIVE as chosen by the public were Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham.

Rivals Jamie and Camilla were runners up, Josh & Kaz finished in third and Wes and Megan ended the series in 4th place.

Although they won Love Island 2018, the series wasn’t over for Dani & Jack.

Host Caroline unveiled that the £50,000 prize fund wasn’t just theirs to take away then and there.

Caroline revealed two sealed envelopes, explaining that one had £0 inside and the other the full £50,000.

Dani & Jack then each had to select an envelope, with Dani ending up with £0 and Jack the £50,000 prize.

Caroline put Jack to the test as he was asked if he was on the show for love or just for the cash: He could either keep the £50,000 for himself or share it half and half with Dani.

“I’m sharing it, obviously!” said Jack without hesitation.

As a result, Dani & Jack each left the villa with £25,000.

Meanwhile, Love Island isn’t quite over for this year.

The Love Island 2018 reunion show airs on Sunday, August 5 from 9PM.

Caroline Flack will be joined by all the islanders from across the series as we get all the gossip from the Isle of Love and find out if love is still blooming outside of the villa.

ITV2 say the reunion episode will relive all our favourites moments from the series, and this is one hot party you won’t want to miss!

Love Island will return for a new series next summer on ITV2.
