Who left Love Island? One couple quits the show

One couple has reportedly made a surprise exit from the Love Island 2018 villa.

Two of the current cast are said to have left the show, to the shock of both producers and their fellow islanders.

Who left Love Island is set to air in scenes tonight at 9PM on ITV2.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “No one expected these two to leave and it is a massive shock.

“Their fellow islanders were stunned when they spoke about their reasons for quitting.

“It’s going to have a big effect on the show, it’s a huge bombshell, and they are going to be massively missed by their co-stars .”

Although the identity of the couple hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s claimed Georgia Steel and Sam Bird are the ones who have gone.

They’re said to have walked off during the upcoming recoupling, which will air from Thursday night’s show at 9PM on ITV2.

“They filmed the recoupling and afterwards Sam and Georgia weren’t happy so walked out of the villa,” a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “None of their fellow Islanders could persuade them to stay.

“The explosive scenes will be aired tomorrow or Friday.”

After being voted in the bottom three couples by the public at the weekend, Georgia and Sam faced a tough decision in Monday night’s show.

Host Caroline Flack revealed that they would have to decide whether to stay together and leave the villa, or split up and stay.

“You cannot stay on Love Island as a couple,” she said. “It’s a huge decision, it’s either split up and remain in the villa or stay together and leave. If you decide to split up, you can’t be with each other.

“If you decide to stay as a couple, you will leave immediately without returning to the villa.”

Georgia and Sam eventually decided to split up in order to stay on the show.

However the pair have found it hard being apart.

In tonight’s episode, Sam admits: “I don’t think Georgia’s fully understood what is about to happen. This is the recoupling. It’s all well and good splitting up and being single and talking to other people but if the people we’ve been talking to is nothing like what we had, then what are we doing?”

Talking in the Beach Hut, Georgia prepares for the gut wrenching decision she is about to face: “I’m really nervous for recoupling. It’s the first recoupling that I haven’t felt excitement. The boy I want to pick, I can’t pick. Awful.”

Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
