Latest Love Island 2018 news, spoilers and results - who left?

Three couples face the axe from Love Island 2018 just days before the final on Monday.

A huge new twist rocked the Love Island villa tonight when a surprise text arrives.

With the final just days away, the Islanders were left dumbstruck when a shock twist left each couple faced with voting to dump a couple from the island.

A text read: “Islanders, tonight each couple will secretly vote for one couple that they think should be dumped from the island.

“You must now discuss in your couples who you are going to choose and why, before submitting your decision via text.

“You must not discuss your decision with anyone else. The couples with the most votes face being dumped from the island #thefinalcountdown”

The three couples that ended up nominated were Alex & Alexandra, Laura & Paul and Josh & Kaz.

Here is how the couples voted…

Josh Denzel & Kazimir Crossley voted to send home Alex & Alexandra.

Wes Nelson & Megan Barton Hanson voted to send home Alex & Alexandra.

Jack Fincham & Dani Dyer voted to send home Laura & Paul.

Paul Knops & Laura Anderson voted to send home Alex & Alexandra.

Alex George & Alexandra Cane voted to send home Josh & Kaz.

During the discussion, Josh told Kaz: “Let’s just go through it couple by couple, and the pros and cons of each I guess.”

As Paul and Laura agonised over their decision, Paul stated: “There’s so many variables with this.”

Laura remarked: “It’s not about fairness, it’s about who you want to dump.”

The three couples now face a public vote to decide their fate.

The one couple with the fewest votes will be DUMPED from the Island on Sunday, just a day before the final on Monday.
