Love Island 2018 recoupling: Here are the current couples

Here’s how the latest Love Island recoupling results went down and who’s now with who.

The new Love Island couples were revealed tonight when the girls were given the power.

In last night’s episode, Kaz got a text: “Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling in which the girls will choose which boy they want to couple up with. #GetPickedOrGetPied #TaxiForTwo”

During the day, single boys Alex, Kieran and Idris were all grafting new girl Alexandra and all forming a closeness to her.

The pressure was on with whichever two boys were left single getting the boot from the villa.

Here’s how the full recoupling went down and what are the current couples as things stand..

Kaz and Josh.
Megan and Wes.
Ellie and Charlie.
Laura and Jack.

Dani and Jack.
Georgia and Sam.
Alexandra and Alex.

In tonight’s show, Josh got a text: “Can all Islanders gather at the fire pit immediately.”

The boys stood in front of the fire pit, awaiting their fate.

One by one, the girls chose who they want to couple up with.

Left with Alex, Kieran and Idris to pick between, Alexandra said: “I want to stay true to myself and couple up with the person I have the strongest connection with.

“It hasn’t been easy but the boy I want to couple up with is… Alex.”

Kieran Nicholls and Idris Virgo were therefore left single and left the villa.

Meanwhile, there are now four official couples.

Tonight’s show saw Charlie ask Ellie to be his girlfriend, joining Kaz and Josh, Megan and Wes and Dani and Jack as being officially coupled up.

Charlie gathered the guys and explained: “I have gathered you here because, I want to make Ellie my girlfriend tonight. That’s what I want to do so obviously I need the boys here to help me out. I have an idea… I want to write on my chest, ‘Ellie will you be my girlfriend?’”

He shared his plan. Wes had to distract Ellie. Old Jack needed to help him write it onto his chest then Charlie planned to whip his shirt off when old Jack spills a drink on him.

Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
