The celebrities heading into the Jungle for the new series included YouTuber Jack Maynard (who quit after two days), Made In Chelsea’s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and Chelsea and England footballer Dennis Wise.

According to The Sun newspaper, boxer Amir Khan is the highest paid celeb this year with a rumoured fee of between £300,000 and £400,000.

Other ‘bigger names’ will be commanding fees around £250,000.

At the other end, smaller stars could be getting less than a tenth of that.

According to reports, Toff is pocketing just £13,000 for her stint in the camp.

A source explained: “There’s a very wide range of payments on the show, and every year some of the top names bag themselves around £250,000.

“This year Amir and Stanley are probably the biggest names, along with Jennie off Coronation Street. But the pay scale slides all the way down to about a tenth of that.

“The least known stars tend to get somewhere around the £25,000 mark.”
