The I’m A Celebrity stars faced a punishment in tonight’s latest episode.
It followed Caitlyn Jenner smuggling food from Sunday night’s roast dinner back to camp for those who missed out.
In this evening’s episode, the basket of dinner arrived and Andrew Maxwell announced what they had after he won 10 stars in the latest trial.
However, as they had been caught smuggling food from the roast dinner the previous night, they had a star deducted.
As the group discussed rule breaking, Caitlyn told everyone she was caught smuggling last night. Andy asked if she’d brought in chicken and corn and bemoaned the fact no-one offered him anything.
The other celebrities sitting around the stove denied witnessing anything. Ian protested: “I’m pleading the fifth, anything I might say may incriminate me, innocent!”
Andy was still salivating over what the celebrities had consumed at their feast after finding out orange juice was served. James told him to get over it: “Stop worrying about last night’s dinner mate, honestly mate it will do your head in and you’ll torture yourself.”
He said Andy had asked about the meal around 20 times. “It doesn’t matter if the whole building is made of chocolate and you were fired out of a cannon into it.”
Explaining his reason for giving Andy the talking to James said: “I don’t want anyone here who missed out to feel like they are struggling it’s just my mentality but I may have come across like I was shutting him down but I didn’t mean to.”
Andy took himself off to his hammock and James apologised for any misunderstanding: “I didn’t mean it like that, I wasn’t being snappy.” Andy replied: “I was just chuffed for you guys, I was just curious.”
Meanwhile, Ian said “If I knew they were going to punish us I’d have ate it out in the open.”
Caitlyn joked “It’s a little disappointing that it went from ten stars to nine stars because of smuggling. I honestly can’t imagine anyone in this group smuggling food. I mean how low do you have to go?”
Andy commented that no one had smuggled food for him. “I’m going to call it Smuggle-gate. I was kind of disappointed at first but once Myles started chopping stuff up and putting it into the pot we realised how much food we had and we were all absolutely made up.”
Myles and Nadine cooked what the campmates described as the “best dinner they’d had”.
The meal consisted of gem fish, wild cabbage, lions mane, chokos, heirlooms and longan for dessert.
I’m A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV.
