I’m A Celebrity’s Jacqueline Jossa conquers fears in ‘helmets of horror’ trial

Five celebrities faced tonight’s bushtucker trial on I’m A Celebrity 2019.

The brand new series of I’m A Celebrity Get me Out Of Here continued this evening (Tuesday, November 19) on ITV.

This year’s celebrities are ex footballer and broadcaster Ian Wright MBE; pop star Nadine Coyle; ‘Rak-Su’ singer Myles Stephenson; Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts; comedian Andrew Maxwell; soap star Jacqueline Jossa; Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp; Olympian and TV personality Caitlyn Jenner; ex-England rugby player James Haskell; and TV and radio presenter Kate Garraway.

From launch, the group was split into two camps: The luxury main camp and the basic snake rock camp.

The two halves reunited this evening, but not before a nasty bushtucker trial.

Jacqueline Overcomes Her Terror in Face Your Fears | I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The five celebs left in Snake Rock – Ian, Andrew, Jacqueline, Caitlyn and James – faced the helmets of horror.

They each found themselves having to place their heads in a perspex container which was then filled with a selection of critters. Viewers had the ability to choose which critter would join which celebrity.

With critters surrounding their heads, the celebs had to each release two stars using their hands within 2 minutes.

First up was James. He got in position as six rats were placed into the helmet. He won one star.

Andrew was next. He winced as cockroaches were poured into the helmet and into the box in front of him. He won one star.

Next up was Caitlyn, joined by Snakes. She won two stars.

Next up was Ian. He got into position and scorpions were placed in his helmet ad in his box. He won one star.

Finally Jacqueline took her turn, joined by spiders. She won two stars, and did it in the quickest time.

Therefore, celebrities won a total of seven stars and so seven meals for camp.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here continues nightly on ITV at 9PM, hosted by Ant and Dec.

Alongside the main show, Extra Camp airs nightly on ITV2.
