Three celebs took on tonight’s latest I’m A Celebrity 2019 trial.
Kate Garraway, Andrew Whyment and Jacqueline Jossa were put forward by the group for this evening’s task.
They headed to the jungle clearing preparing for a task called Celebrities Assemble.
A superhero mission against the clock, Jacqueline found herself locked in a cage with bugs and suspended 100ft in the air.
It was then up to Kate and Andy to rescue her, making their way along an obstacle course collecting stars along the way.
Kate became Captain Australia and Andy was Cockroach Man as the pair took on the task to try and win up to nine stars from camp..
Kate and Andy made their way across the first platform and started to get the first stars which had green ants around them. “They can bite through lycra it turns out” commented Kate.
“Ooh those ants don’t half nip” added Andy.
Next up Kate had to throw a boomerang at a target which then dropped a star that Andy had to catch. She managed to do it and they moved along the platform. Kate then realised she’d forgotten a star so went back and initially struggled to get it as she wasn’t tall enough. She then climbed a tower to get another star.
Andy and Kate got to the final platform and pressed the red button which then opened the bottom of Jacqueline’s box which meant she was dangling in the air much to her surprise.
Thankfully she was still holding onto the 9th star which meant they’d won all stars available and successfully completed the Trial.
Jacqueline said “I got dropped from 100ft and didn’t know it was coming but luckily I held onto the star so we got nine stars and we’re eating tonight.”
The celebrities chatted in camp and James said he thought they’d get six stars, Roman thought seven stars, Myles and Nadine both thought nine stars.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues nightly on ITV with Ant and Dec at 9PM.
Extra Camp spin-off airs on ITV2 straight after the main show.
