I’m A Celebrity 2019 start date confirmed! Air date for series 19 revealed

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here air date for 2019 - when is it on TV?

The start date for I’m A Celebrity 2019 has been confirmed with the new series back in November.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here will return to TV next month with what will be the nineteenth(!) series of the Australian jungle show.

When does I’m A Celebrity start?

ITV has now confirmed the air date for I’m A Celebrity this year with the series starting at 9PM on Sunday, November 17.

The show will then continue nightly as usual, typically airing for around three weeks.

2019 will see Ant and Dec reunite as hosts on the main show after Ant stepped down last year, replaced by Holly Willoughby.

Ant said earlier this year: “That was the great thing about Holly. It was a one-year gig. That was the brief, a one-off.

“I was thankful that it was her because she was looking after my mate out there and looking after the show. And she doesn’t need the work — she can’t get off the telly!”

Meanwhile, ITV has confirmed the new hosting team for I’m A Celebrity’s ITV2 spin-off show Extra Camp.

The jungle reality show’s ITV2 sister show has announced two new faces after Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash both quit earlier in 2019.

Former I’m A Celebrity campers Adam Thomas and Emily Atack will be taking over, joining returning Joel Dommett.

While the start date is confirmed, no names have been officially announced for the line up.

However those rumoured to be taking part include Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, Rugby star James Haskell and singer Myles Stephenson of X Factor winning boy group Rak-Su.

Also rumoured are Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle and Capital FM host Roman Kemp and TV personality Ulrika Jonsson.

But for now we’ll just have to wait and see exactly who enters camp on launch night.

I’m A Celebrity airs on ITV.

You’ll be able to watch the series online via the ITV Hub.
