I’m A Celebrity 2018’s contestants will be split into two camps from the start this year.
One group will have to live in the ‘worst camp EVER’, sleeping on the floor and eating just basic rations, while the others will enjoy a life of luxury.
Well, as much luxury as you can get while still sleeping in the Australian jungle.
A total of 10 celebrities will enter camp over the next 24 hours with their entrances shown in Sunday night’s series premiere at 9PM on ITV.
One of the team working on the show, Olly Nash announced: “We have got our biggest walk-in this year so the camp will be divided into two for the first few days so there will be a winners’ camp Croc Creek and a losers’ camp snake Rock with rice and beans sleeping on the floor.
“Walk-in has a number of events to choose your team and then they will go head-to-head in a race.”
Revealing what the losers will be in for, series editor Olly explained to The Sun newspaper: “Snake Rock will be very basic this year, last year it was a positive place to be. This time they are sleeping on the floor with ground sheets. And just a very small portion of race and beans.
“If you end up in Snake Rock there will be more horrors to await you and those in the main camp will have it easy.”
Meanwhile, Olly promised us a mix of the usual testing trials we’ve seen in the past together with some never before seen challenges.
“You can be pretty sure you are going to get parachute jumps and height challenges when they go in, those universal fears to test them with,” he said. “There are newer and bigger trials and we might serve Sea Urchin. They are horrible spiky little balls with little meat on them.”
I’m A Celebrity 2018 launches on Sunday, November 18 at 9PM.
