I’m A Celebrity: Watch Nick Knowles and Noel Edmonds tackle highwire Bushtucker Trial

Pair must 'Catch a Falling Star' to win meals for camp

Nick Knowles and Noel Edmonds have been chosen by I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers to face the next Bushtucker Trial, which involves a highwire.

During last night’s episode, viewers had around five minutes to pick two campmates for the Trial in a flash vote on the show’s official app.

Once again, Anne Hegerty was ruled out on medical grounds.

“I know, I’m as surprised as you are,” joked presenter Dec Donnelly.

At the end of the show, Dec and co-host Holly Willoughby entered camp to inform Nick and Noel that they’d topped the vote.

Therefore, the telly hosts will team up for ‘Catch a Falling Star’ – the first highwire Trial of the series.

Dangling in parallel boxes above a ravine, the pair must pass stars between each other to earn meals for camp.

Meanwhile, the boxes will gradually be filled with critters including cockroaches and maggots.

“Two celebrities must work as a team, or dinner will disappear in to thin air,” a teaser video said.

“Suspended in two boxes, the critters just keep on coming, but if they want to eat, they’ll have to catch a falling star.”

After the result was announced, Rita Simons immediately guessed what the task involves.

“I guarantee you this is a high wire, I’d be fine with thatm” she said. “Whatever it is, you’re safe, you’re harnessed, it’s easy peasy.”

It will Noel’s second Trial in a row after he faced ‘Nero to Zero’ alongside Harry Redknapp.

As the former Emperor and personal advisor, the pair were automatically put forward for yesterday’s challenge as their reign of power came to an end.

One of the most revolting eating Trials in the show’s history, it involved the pair drinking fish eye juice.

However, their heroic efforts saw them return to camp triumphant with a full house of eleven meals.

Watch I’m A Celebrity tomorrow night at 9.00pm on ITV to find out if Nick and Noel can ‘Catch a Falling Star’.
