A first look at this year’s I’m A Celebrity 2018 has been revealed ahead of the air date in November.

However Declan Donnelly and his guest co-host for the series Holly Willoughby don’t appear.

Instead, the first promo features a father and daughter who are seen walking through the jungle.

“Remember the stories about the legends of the jungle? Well, they’re true,” says the father figure.

“Them eating kangaroo danglies, is that true?” asks the daughter, “Being showered in spiders? Getting a face full of fish guts? What about the man who…”

“All true,” adds the dad before the familiar sound of I’m A Celeb’s jungle drums kick in.

The trailer confirmed the show will start in November but did not announce a precise air date.

Holly will join Dec as this year’s co-host after Ant McPartlin stepped down from TV commitments earlier this year until 2019 after seeking treatment in rehab.

Regular This Morning host Holly said: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery. These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit… ”

Dec added: “I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year. “She was at the top of my list and I’m thrilled she said yes. It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers.”

As for who could be a part of the show, those rumoured include football manager Harry Redknapp, The Chase star Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess, and Coronation Street actress Sair Khan.

More rumoured names are Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Holby City actress Rosie Marcel, plus Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and Inbetweeners star Emily Atack.

Also linked to the series are X Factor singer Fleur East, TV presenter Nick Knowles, Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon, reality star Charlotte Dawson, The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge and TV presenter Kate Garraway.

I’m A Celebrity airs on ITV.
