The Great British Bake Off 2023 continues this Tuesday with Pastry week.
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are back as judges on The Great British Bake Off which returns to its usual Tuesday night slot on Channel 4.
Paul and Prue are accompanied by Bake Off hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding for week five in the tent.
Last week saw NO bakers sent home in Chocolate week but it means two will be heading home tonight.
During Pastry Week, the bakers aim to steer clear of any undercooked bases while mastering savoury Signature picnic pies. They also confront a traditional French rough puff pastry in the Technical round, culminating in the creation of ornate sweet pie Showstoppers.
Who will rise to the top and who will falter amid the heat?
At the end of the episode, judges Paul and Prue will determine who’s eliminated and who is the week’s star baker.
Last weekend Paul and Prue decided not to send any bakers at home.
It was Chocolate Week, and the bakers tackled three indulgent challenges: a tricky torte in the Signature, a cheesecake challenge in the Technical, and a chocolate box Showstopper.
At the end, the judges announced there would be no elimination after Tasha had to withdraw from the episode due to illness.
However Paul and Prue warned it meant that TWO bakers will be eliminated from the tent tonight.
Watch all the action in the tent and find out who is sent home when GBBO returns this evening at 8PM on Channel 4.
Meanwhile The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice returns fronted by Jo Brand, airing on Friday nights on Channel 4.
You can watch and catch up on current and past instalments online via the All 4 player.
