Our Girl Season 3 is back tonight – from the cast to first spoilers, here’s all you need to know.

The second part of Series 3 of Our Girls will continue tonight on Wednesday 17 July at 9pm on BBC One with the latest new episodes part of a 12 episode commission.

Our Girl series three is comprise of three separate tours. This first tour of four episodes aired last year and saw Georgie on a relief mission in Nepal following a devastating series of earthquakes.

Our Girl Series 3 cast

Corporal Georgie Lane (Michelle Keegan) – Gutsy, passionate and unstoppable, Georgie is an army medic from Stockport who relishes the adrenaline that comes with the adventures of her work.

Captain James (Ben Aldridge) – A charismatic leader and brilliant officer, Captain James is an army man to the core and well respected by the men who fight alongside him.

Private Maisie Richards (Shalom Brune-Franklin) – Brash and fearless, Maisie has always been front and centre of any group within which she finds herself. A free spirit, she often pokes fun at Georgie’s traditional ideas of love and romance.

Private Rab Kalil (Harki Bhambra)

Elvis Harte (Luke Pasqualino) – (Part 1) Elvis is a cheeky Londoner who has grown into a remarkable leader, joining the SAS selection after a number of tours with the army.

Our Girl spoilers

In tonight’s episode, as the camp is hit by a dangerous cholera epidemic, 2 Section are tasked with protecting Inspector Chowdhrey (Navin Chowdhry) who is now a key witness in bringing down the leaders of the drug gang. Horrified when a particularly gruesome message is sent demanding his silence, the Inspector fears for his family’s safety and refuses to cooperate.

When Georgie (Michelle Keegan) suspects that Barsha knows more than she has previously let on, she hatches a plan to persuade Inspector Chowdhrey to make a full statement. However disaster strikes when the couple’s young son, Sumon, (Imran Khan) is kidnapped by the gang and it falls to Georgie to get the child back.

Meanwhile, fellow medic Ruby (Patrick McNamee) catches cholera whilst treating patients in the camp.
