Five Star Hotel begins tonight as celebrities run a luxury hotel – what could go wrong?

A bunch of celebrities takeover a luxury Greek hotel in new E4 series Five Star Hotel.

Five celebrities – Spencer Matthews, Joey Essex, Lydia Bright, Holly Hagan and Ashley Cain – will be in charge of the hotel for the summer season.

They’ll be rated and reviewed by their guests, with the aim of getting the hotel up to five stars.

Who will get a little too close to the holiday makers? Who will fail to deliver and get sent home? And who will ultimately get the best overall rating and be awarded Employee of the Season?

From arranging stag parties on yachts to unforgettable excursions, the celebs will have their hands full as they juggle everything that is thrown at them.

In tonight’s opening episode, airing at 10PM on E4, it’s the celebs first day and with his hotel pedigree, Spencer is made the manager.

Joey is given the lowly job of bell boy. And they’re off to a shaky start when Joey gets lost taking the first guests to their room, and Lydia is forced to cover for Ashley who fails to get up for his breakfast shift.

Spencer’s management style quickly comes under fire as the first ratings are announced, and things go from bad to worse as the celebs throw a disastrous welcome dinner, with one celeb drunkenly offending a guest.

It’s a chaotic start to the season at the Five Star Hotel – can they turn it around?

The new series will be voiced by writer and comedian, Russell Kane.

The show will air each weeknight at 10PM from this evening for the next three weeks.

Announcing the show previously, Channel 4 Head of Formats Dom Bird’s Dom Bird said: “What could be better than a summer break in the sun, with all your needs taken care of by a team of celebrities? E4 is delighted to be opening the doors of the Five Star Hotel to our viewers.

“The only thing we can’t guarantee is the quality of the service…”

Five Star Hotel airs from 10PM tonight, March 12, on E4.
