Cheryl is reportedly in talks to launch her own talent show.
The former X Factor judge and current The Greatest Dancer captain is now stranger to such programmes.
But the new idea doesn’t involving any form of singing or dancing, instead searching for ‘the ultimate glam squad’.
The Sun newspaper reports that the idea is currently under discussion with production company Thames TV, who make shows such including The X Factor and The Greatest Dancer as well as Britain’s Got Talent and Take Me Out.
It’s rumoured that the hair and beauty based talent show would involve auditioning stylists and make up artists.
“When it comes to hair and beauty Cheryl is a real expert and would love to help bring through the next generation of talent,” a source told the tabloid. “It’s in the early stages but there’s a huge belief in the show.”
The news follows the BBC announcing its own make-up competition, hosted by Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley.
Called Glow Up, the series will see ten contestants live and work together as they compete to win a contract assisting some of the world’s biggest make-up artists.
With different creative briefs each week, they will need to bring lashings of passion, originality and skill to impress Val, Dominic and expert guest judges from worlds such as fashion and film.
Joining Stacey throughout the series will be industry legends Val Garland, Global Make-Up Director for L’Oreal Paris, and Dominic Skinner, Global Senior Artist for MAC, who will judge the competition.
On fronting the search for the UK’s next make-up star, Stacey Dooley said: “I’m delighted to be involved with Glow Up. The make-up artists are so impressive and talented…and Val and Dominic were a scream to work with. Can’t wait to show you all it!”
Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make Up Star will air in 2019 on BBC Three.
