Celebs On The Ranch is coming to 5Star – here’s who’s on the line up and the latest spoilers.
An American Style spin-off to Celebs On The Farm, Celebs On The Ranch sees ten celebrities head out to the wilds of Arizona to test their mettle and learn how to be cowboys.
Almost two hours from the nearest super-market, how will the celebs cope with the early starts and hard physical work involved in running a ranch, and without the luxuries of home?
Rancher Rick and his team of cowboys will set challenges and judge the celebs’ attempts, awarding prized horse-shoes to those who impress him.
It all started on 5Star at 9PM on Monday, April 1 and episodes air each week-night at 9PM on 5Star over two weeks.
Celebs On The Ranch line up
Those making up the cast of wannabe cowboys and cowgirls include Love Island stars Eval Booker and Georgia Steel, The Wanted’s Siva, TOWIE’s Bobby Norris and Courtney Green and dancer Louie Spence.
They’re joined by presenter Jenny Powell, Made In Chelsea’s Victoria Baker-Harber and Mark-Francis Vandelli, and Tanya Bardsley from The Real Housewives in Cheshire.
In tonight’s fourth episode the celebs face the first elimination. Ten become nine as Rancher Rick decides who will be the first to leave the ranch. First the celebs are split into two teams – Steers and Heifers – to try and locate the parts of a horse by name.
Then they face a Trailer Reversing Challenge – and we learn which of them can’t drive, and who has lost their licence… twice.
Meanwhile, in Friday’s final episode of the week, the remaining celebs face the two most dangerous challenges so far – pistol shooting and roping on horseback.
While each celeb is excited to have a go, there are some nerves too, as well as some surprises at who displays some unexpected prowess on the shooting range. The day ends in drama and pain for one of the hopefuls, who has to be airlifted to hospital.
