Who’s on Celebrity MasterChef 2018 line up who won? Here are all the final results!
Back again for a brand new series, Celebrity MasterChef invites famous faces from the worlds of sport, show business, music and drama to chop, slice and sizzle their way to the trophy.
Seasoned judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace are back ready to have their taste buds challenged, whilst they whittle down the twenty celebrity contestants. Comparing their culinary skills in their hunt to single out one champion.
As always, the celebrity contestants were put through a plethora of culinary challenges.
Over 12 weeks, they’ll cook for critics and past winners in their quest to reach the ultimate challenge of cooking with Michelin-starred chef, Jason Atherton, and of course serving up their ultimate three-course menu for John and Gregg.
Celebrity MasterChef 2018 line up and WINNER
In the heats, four groups of five celebs competed in their first series of challenges each week. Over two shows, each week three celebs were eliminated and two made it through to the semi-final.
In the semi-final, the top eight celebs were cut again with another week of challenges leaving just four celebs left in the competition.
On Friday, in the results of the grand final, actor John Partridge was crowned the Celebrity MasterChef 2018 winner ahead of fellow finalists, former international rugby player and TV presenter Martin Bayfield and TV personality Spencer Matthews.
In the first half of the final earlier this week, World Champion, Paralympian and broadcaster Stef Reid was eliminated in fourth place.
Meanwhile, eliminated in the semi-finals were Comedian Zoe Lyons, Professional dancer and TV personality AJ Pritchard, Actor Lisa Maxwell and Musician and model Josh Cuthbert of Union J fame.
Celebrity contestants who didn’t make it through to the semi-final were artist and actress Stella Parton, TV presenter and furniture restorer Jay Blades, DJ and broadcaster Clara Amfo, Singer songwriter Carol Decker, Actor Keith Allen, TV presenter Michelle Ackerley, TV presenter Jean Johansson, Actress and singer Anita Harris, TV presenter and singer Frankie Bridge, England cricketer Monty Panesar, TV star Gemma Collins and Actor Chizzy Akudolu
In tonight’s grand-final, the battle for the Celebrity Masterchef title concluded, the final three’s penultimate challenge was the toughest and most daunting of the competition – The Chef’s Table.
Hosted by critically acclaimed chef, Bryn Williams, the finalist three had to cook for an exceptional gathering of some the best chefs in the country.
Back at MasterChef HQ, the three then cooked and presented a faultless three-course meal for judgement by John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
Celebrity Masterchef airs at 8PM and 8:30PM on Thursday and Friday night on BBC One.
