Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls is back tonight for 2018 and the celebs on the cast have been confirmed.
A new Celebrity line up for the all star spin off of The Island with Bear Grylls went out into the wild earlier this year.
The latest set of celebrities have signed up for what is the third Celebrity series of the survival reality show.
In aid of charity for Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer charity campaign, the Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls sees a number of celebs dropped on an inhabited island.
Alongside four camera crew – who are living in just the same conditions – the celebs arrive with just the clothes they’re wearing and a handful of basic tools in order to survive four weeks.
Celebrity Island 2018 cast
This year’s Celebrity Island contestants include Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated actor, Eric Roberts, actor and musician, Martin Kemp, double Olympic gold medal rower, James Cracknell, Olympic boxer, Anthony Ogogo and TOWIE star Pete Wicks.
Joining them are model and TV personality, Jo Wood, Love Island star Montana Brown, actress and radio broadcaster, Roxanne Pallett, journalist, presenter and transgender activist Paris Lees and TV doctor, Dr Saleyha Ahsan.
The celebs took part in filming over the summer, with the show continuing on TV this Sunday night (September 16) from 9PM.
Last week saw the first episode, where Roxanne became the first celeb to give in and ask to leave the Island.
Tonight, the nine remaining celebs are starting to crack under the pressure as they battle huge tropical storms. A war of words erupts between journalist Paris Lees and Towie star Pete Wicks as they struggle to keep the fire alight. Tensions continue to get out of control as the group try to resolve the lack of food.
The Celebrity Island follows the main series of the show which concluded at the end of April.
The Island with Bear Grylls’ 2018 series saw a brand twist seeing with the contestants split into two groups based on their wages.
One group earned an average of £100,000 a year while the other took home less than the national average.
A total of 16 people were sent to live on an uninhabited pacific island with just the clothes on their back and a few basic survival tools. As always, they’re filming everything that happens themselves as they try to survive for five weeks.
