Celebrities to take on ‘The Wall Of Death’ in new Channel 4 show

A group of celebrities will risk their lives for charity in a planned new Channel 4 show.

Stars will take on The Wall Of Death, a motorcycle stunt that sees riders defying gravity.

The Sun reports that the show is a celebrity spin-off to Guy Martin’s Wall of Death, which aired in 2016.

That show saw Guy take on the Wall Of Death live in a daring and extreme world record attempt, reaching speeds of 80mph.

Guy will return for the new celebrity show alongside Wall Of Death expert Ken Fox, of the Hell Riders.

“The team are excited that this could be one of the most exciting, most talked-about live TV moments of the year,” a source said today. “It’s obviously hugely dangerous but it’s for a really good cause.”

The source said that casting of potential celebrity contestants was already underway.

“If they can get enough people signed up, inside training will commence over the summer,” the source added. “It’ll be nail-biting, edge-of-your seat stuff. It’s yet to be formally commissioned but Channel 4 has begun approaching celebrities.”

It’s understood that the show would be in aid of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Alongside the new Celebrity Wall Of Death, Channel 4 is also said to be working on a Celebrity Naked Attraction, also for the charity campaign.
